I have that same problem...wjhat "looks" best (very important to have tjhatn "look" and "sound", ya know?
Actually, I added a right side sidestand to mine (really...saw an old biker at Cripple Creek one year leaning the wrong way, but he was backed into a slot that he wouldn't have been able to leaning left)....I can lean the damn thing either way now!
