I loved it on the 12. Just couldn't see my self on it though.

 

Very limited buyers for colors when it comes time to trade or sell. Most everyone will buy/ride black. That color will look "dated" to many in a few years, no thanks.

 

I don't know if it's to bright, but it might be too bright.

Seriously though, I don't think it's either, but it's not the color I would want for the long haul. Now that new Chrome Yellow, I could live with that fer sure.

I get lots of positive comments on my ultra, a lot of people think it's a CVO. Cleans up really nice and has very strong green and gold colors in sunlight. Plus no one can say "I didn't see him coming".

 

I have a riding buddy with a 2012 Street Glide in that color, looks great!

 

My 2010 SEUC colors are called Scarlet and Slate. Guy I ride with has a 2010 SE Streetglide and its Tequilia Sunrise. Parked side by side in the sun, the colors look identical. Maybe a tiny bit of difference in the color of the flake in the paint, one gold, one a little red.

 

I was going to get a SG in that colour last year however I ended up going for BBP which I like but that orange is very cool..

 

I liked the color enough to buy it :-)

Here is a take on "getting tired of it." I think you can tired of about anything.... but IMO, if you like it - try it! It is a fun color that you can try for a while. If you get sick of it, Paint it!! I like it cause it pops. I like bikes with cool colors - chrome yellow pearl, wild orange, two tones, custom paint, etc. This color option let me a semi-cuustom paint job without the work of pulling the tins and paying a painter....

Wife has a Heritage in HD and Tequila. Very bright and she gets lots of compliments on the paint. Looks great in the sun. And, yes it is easy to find among the sea of black bikes. Most who see it in person like the colors. I will say I say a Ultra and it was a little "much" for me but still looked good.

 

I have the 2012 FLHTK in that color. I love it!!!! I get many compliments on the color.
