Default 2013 SG rear peg ?'s

Wife barely rides. If she does it is maybe an hour, around town for a total of 15 hours a year and believe me I am fine with that!! Don't want to spend money on parts that won't get a return on investment. Has anyone tried any of the knock off mini passenger footboards on e-bay? She was whining the other day, that I didn't get passenger footboards when I bought the bike. Also, if you have bought the e-bay mini knockoffs, was it a quick pull the bolt slip in board and tighten bolt install ?

you can probably find a local rider who would trade you floorboards for pegs, at least so she can try them.

the stock pass floorboards on the 09+ frame can whack the rider in the calves while duck paddling around the driveway- so I, like many others with boards, swapped to SG pegs.

can't comment on anything sold on ebay.

1 bolt mounting for other of these, use locktite and correct torque spec

my wife rides with me seldom, she is fine with pegs they work with her heels so her feets don't slide around

Thanks Mike. I think I am going to pick up an inexpensive pair of mini boards off e-bay. I'll only be out 50 bucks. If she likes them fine if not back to the oem pegs.

I think if my OL were only ever on the back for an hour at a time she could just deal with pegs. Perhaps if she rode more boards would be more justified.

I sprang for boards cuz my OL is on for about 60% of the miles I put on my bike. Last season was 12,500 miles.

I'm wanting to do the same to my SG. My wife wants footboards but I priced them at the stealer and they were $400 for the streamliners. I think not. I'll get a set of take off's from another E-glide before I do that. Do the pegs and boards have the same mount?

No they do not. If you buy the stock OEM style they are $125. More if you also buy the chrome cover.
