I know a couple that use them. They sound fine. You might want to check out the J&M hand mic for Harleys, it's about $40 cheaper.

Seriously? A hand held mic on a bike sounds like a disaster just waiting for the slightest unexpected occurance.

How'd they get away with this one? Seems soooooo dangerous.

Now I often ride with one hand, cruise control on right hand/arm gets a break. But this seems over the top to me. Just sayin'.

Seriously...?...
In a few states, helmet speakers are prohibited.
In some states only a single earphone is allowed - yours being one of them.

Thanks
I've got a 76217-88b ... which has been replaced by 76215-88a that is just sitting in the cabinet. According to what I've found this unit fits up through 1997. It is a 7 pin connector and does plug in to my connector on my 2009 FLHTCU. I got this Mic from a friend and used it on my 1992 FLHTCU ... Check and see if anyone knows if it will work for you ( My CB doesn't work on my 2009 ) and if it does you can have it for the cost of shipping. It's in good shape and comes with a couple of brackets and screws ... Maybe it will fit your scooter. Let me know.
