Default New Mustang Seat Has Wrinkles

This is a New (just taken out of the box) Mustang 79646 heated seat. As you can see there are wrinkles in the back corners of the drivers section of the seat. Is this normal, I've seen lots of pictures of Mustang seats without wrinkles like this? Should I be sending this back and requesting a new one? Thanks for your advice

maybe it was an old cow....i have a mustang touring seat but not heated, don't remember any slack in the seat. that looks like it wasn't pulled real tight. would probably be ok. call them and send them a picture. i'm sure they have a contact person/e-mail and see what they do.......i wonder if that bump is caused by a heating pad. don't put it on the bike until you get it resolved or can live with it. jmho

Normal.

Few trips with it parked in the hot sun will pull it tight.

Mustang is a quality company and I am sure if you are unhappy, they would exchange it. If you are on facebook, like the page and post a pic of it and they will respond quickly. I have posted on their FB page and they got right back to me.

I've decided to send it back. We'll see if the next one is better? I just don't see those wrinkles being in a new seat out of the box, maybe after some use but not new. I'll post a picture of the replacement when it gets here.

Mustang states on their website if you purchased from a vendor that you should contact that vendor. I purchased this from dennis kirk, they have an excellent return policy. I sent the seat back to dennis kirk for exchange. I'll update when the new seat arrives
