I was riding back from the dealership having completed my 10k service (good experience BTW; did a good job), and I realized as I got on the highway that I was getting hit with coolant--- it was all over my legs and face. Luckily I was wearing glasses and boots.

I'm going to ride again today to see if it happens again.

 

Are you sure the dealer put the radiator cap back on after flushing the cooling system?

I'm wondering if that might be degreaser that they used to clean the bike up with after the service. BUT you should probably check the oil and make sure that the filter is on tight.

Something similar happened to be, but what it was, was that the mech at the dealer forgot to tighten the cap for the front brake reserviour. They had to repaint my gas tank. What a mess.
