UPDATE!!!!!!

Turns out this was an oversight on MY part, I didn't read the shipping info, or see the banner on the site, and ASSUMED that the free shipping included Canada. IT DOES NOT (Understandably).

After talking to the folks at Eastern Performance Cycles, it's all good. The light is on it's way, no issue.

Thanks again to Tim & Derek at Eastern, I can certainly see why these guys have such a good rep on here, I'll be buying from them in the future.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have some "Crow" warming up in the micro...................

 

Their site under shipping and returns has the following in large font:

FREE SHIPPING IS FOR THE CONTINENTAL US

 

I stopped dealing with them since I never received any reply (much less any concern) about a Barnett clutch kit that was lacking a plate.

 

Well, you did suggest you still had the option to cancel the order...
I too feel your pain, but it has eased once I opened a shipping address south of the border.
Hope the TL is worth the added costs.

Usually. When something out of the norm sounds too good to be true, its exactly that. I just made a large purchase with eastern and the customer service was phenominal and the products were here next day.i will definitely do business again

 

The $40 was for someone to fill out the customs forms that took all of 15 seconds! It certainly doesn't cost anymore to ship to Toronto Canada then Buffalo NY...... buying from Canada you need to pick and chose your purchases carefully, picked up a set of Rinehart 3.5" pipes from EP for $270 on sale.... half what we pay for em up here even after ALL charges, have to be sure before ya hit the pay button unfortunately ...... there is never free shipping to Canada from the US.

 

 

As a Canadian I know that we only get free shipping from Canadian companies. You will NEVER get free shipping from the States. Just file that for future info.

 

If the border is not too far, get a U.S. parcel pickup. Use your bike for the small stuff and car for the rest. I think DK is down to 89$ for free shipping now.
