I'm wondering if anyone with an Electra Glide that removed their tour pack and relocated their license plate has switched out their tail light lens for the one with the clear lens on the bottom. I'm wondering if it will light up the tag enough. Thanks.

 

I cut the existing plate holder and installed the Road King setup on my Ultra. I think it looks cleaner, no issues. Also, no pics since I'm at work.

 

roadking signal bar and tail light lens- this has the plate leds incorporated into the bar.

a clear lower lens as you suggest would probably work well, or you can get a set of plate bolts with LEDS built in, about $20 a pair online or cyclegear
