Pics of Ultra with Lower Rear Shocks??
Hello, I am really wanting to get rid of the stock air shocks on my 13 Limited and I figure since I will be spending a good bit of money on new (non air) shocks I should look into getting some a little shorter. I would like to see some pics of your bikes with lower shocks on the rear. I will only be changing out the rear shocks and don't want it to look weird with just the rear lower.
Thanks very much!

The '04 to '08 RKCustoms came with the 1" shorter shocks. I think it really looks great. That's why I own one.
I changed my shocks out to Progressive 444HD series. I have been very happy with them although I admit, it was a lot of adjusting required to get the best compromise for mostly 2up riding and some solo riding.
Progressive doesn't show a 12" shock for your bike so you may try calling them.

2009 FLHTC with SG shocks:
If you are trying to judge by eyeball...on a lowered bike when resting on the jiffy stand, the axle can be seen on the right side between the saddlebag and the muffler.
On a stock height bike the axle lines up with the muffler and can't be seen.
On a stock front end, the bottoms of the cowbells about line up with the top of the fender, on a lowered bike, the bottoms of the cowbells are below the top of the fender, by the 1" or what ever lowering kit is in there;
2011 FLHTK lowered 1" front and SG shocks ( left) compare to my 2009 FLHTC at stock height F&R ( right)- ( I use 13" when touring)

I had 12 inch shocks on my 11 limited for a while and went back to stock ( yes stock is 13 ). I couldn't tell much of a difference look wise, it did feel lower when I sat on it but it gave me a very rough ride so I switched back to 13's. I'm currently waiting for mean city cycles to send back my lowered and narrowed seat and if its still not enough I will drop some money on lower progressive shocks.

Thanks for the pics guys I really appreciate them. I run 25-30 PSI in my stock air shocks and looking at the bike from the right side while on the jiffy stand it looks like the rear is a little higher then the front. I want to get a good set of 12" shocks. I'm currently looking at the HD premium touring shocks. I know there are better shocks out there but 500.00 is the max I would like to spend on a set.
Thanks again!
