Default How to tell what slip-ons I have

Ok....had a real thorough poke around my RK today....I have had it for a month and I had time to get the tools out and tinker!

Fixed a few real minor things...nothing serious.

I know it has a screaming Eagle Stage one...and the previous owner (who had it from new for 16 yrs until he sold it to me) said he fitted "special" pipes....screaming eagle racing pipes.

Now, there is no manufacturer info on the slip-ons....BUT....as I was crawling underneath there is a little message about the pipes not being street legal etc. etc. stamped into the chrome.

Its a '97 FLHRI btw.....screaming eagle racing pipes......ring a bell with anyone? it is not a big deal....I am just curious as it is MINE now!!

You have to love buying from a guy like this though....he still sees my wife ,and asks here if I am looking after "his" bike!

My SE slip-ons have the same disclosure, and no name on them. Can you post a photo of one of them. The experts on here will be able to accurately identify them.

The non-street legals were mostly for California's EPA, I guess because they did not have catalysts. I had the Screaming Eagle II's on my Heritage, and were too loud because of the absence of catalysts, so I got rid of them.
