first noticed bike was missing and didnt have usual power , when slowed down got worse with some light backfireing . pulled over and bike will barely idle and is a bit harder to restart . tried bumping throttle a couple times trying to diagnose and engine reved up and would not respond to throtle release, had to hit kill switch reql quick . checked al fluids and began to limp home , can smell gas fumes a little while sitting runs but misses and red check eng light is on sollid all the time . got home ok(15mi), harder to start now , have to assist with throtle , iddles but barely , if you bump throtle it will rev up and have to hit kill switch . problem not as noticable at 60mph or so but still low on power and missing. ANY ADVICE ??

carried my 02 RK down to a local guy today Jim at J&L cycles in about 2 minutes he found my problem . the throtle body and its electronics were the computers and our suspect so we started there and a couple bolts latter BAM theres the problem . one bolt broken off and the other missing compleetly , the throttle body was being held on by the breather assembly only and i guess the rubber o ring went through the intake manifold .looking back i now i can think of a couple things the bike did lately were due to this progressing problem. a couple bolts and an o ring latter and my teal green RK is back on the road again ... i enjoy treading all the forums here and appreciate all help..
