Fat Bob Outer Primary Cover fit 2011 Touring?

Title is wrong

Fat Bob is what I meant.

Does anybody know if the outer primary cover from a 2013 Fat Bob will fit on an 09 and later Touring bike? I have a chrome one on my Road King and he has a wrinkle black one on his. Can we swap em up?

I sincerely doubt it...dyna's are different.

I realise this thread is almost three years old but it's still not clear to me if the outer primary cover off a fat bob will fit a tourer of same or similar model year. For my query, I'm looking at 2012 fat bob and 2013 tourer.

No it will not. They are different lengths. The transmission and and oil tanks are configured different between the Dynas and the Tourers. I believe the Dyna cover is actually a couple inches longer than the Tourer.
