Default Clutch cable length for wild one bars.

Trying to decide between WO578 or 577 bars on my 13 flhtcu. I'm 5'11 215lbs and the stock bars are too low. Does anyone know what clutch cable lengths and part numbers fornthe cables is for both of these bars? The bike is non ABS. Will the stock brake line work?
The biggest issue for me is wrist angle. I have carpal tunnel and the stock wrist angle gets pretty uncomfortable on long rides. I need a more relaxed wrist angle. The wife and i are planning on doing alot of traveling on the bike and i'm trying to set it up for maximum comfort for the long haul.

Thanks for any input!

that's my bike with wo578 bars on it. I used a +6 clutch cable. you could probably go with a +4 or 5. had to get mine from drag specialties from the dealer so just tell them +6 clutch. I did use a longer brake cable you don't have to I just wanted the extra length if you want the longer one just tell them the one for the Harley bagger apes is the one you want. the wrist angle is really nice imo. if you want to stay below the fairing the 578 bars come right to the top of it and you will need to change out your mirrors.

another thing if you get avon grips do not cut the left side of the bar as is suggested and you will need to sand down the throttle side of the bar so the grip will turn. any questions feel free to pm me.

How is the pullback compared to the stock bars? Because of the extra width, it seems like they would be more of a reach than the stock bars. Did you have to roll them back some to get them closer to you?

Thanks mainboom! Looks like the 578's are the way to go. How are they comfort wise on long rides because they look wider than stock?

I have done the W0575 as well as the W0578. I have the 578's on now. If I were to do it all over again, I would probably go back to the 575's. The 578's are a bit higher so your knuckles will be in the wind which could be an issue if touring in the dead of winter. The 578's are quite wide as well, really a bit too wide for me. You are correct in your thinking the width will cause you to have to move forward to reach.

578's are slightly 'adjustable', not very much though. I have mine pulled back as far as I can without the bars hitting the tank at full lock. I would like to be able to rotate them just a bit more but can't.

I've done both the 577 (12.5") and 578 (10") with the 578 all I needed was a +4" clutch cable. I rotated the banjo fitting straight down and the brake line was fine. With the 577 I did +4" on the brake and +6" on the clutch.

With either bar it is recommended to swap the factory rubber bushings for polyurethane replacements

Oh by the way I am 5'11 and the 577 fit better. With the 578 I still slouch and get some burn between the shoulder blades

Thanks for the reply's folks. I have had 2 street glides and on 1 i put the chromewerks 2+2 sweepers. On the other i tried the klockwerks ergo back bars. The sweepers were great height wise but i didn't really care for the swept look. The klockwerks i could never really find a sweet spot after adjusting them multiple times. Both times i used the stock clutch cable and had to re-route the cable. It worked but was still kinda tight. I see alot of people seem to be happy with the wild ones bars. It looks like the 578's are about 2-3 inches taller than stock. If thats the case it would be about the height of the sweepers.

The bike i have now is a ultra classic and it sits me up higher in the seat thanthe SG, thats why im thinking a taller bar like the 578 would be better.

I actually have mine pushed all the way forward there is only about a 1 1/2 inch gap between the fairing and my bars. if I could id push them forward more. the pullback is fine for me im 5'8 and I still have a bend in my elbows. the wrist angle was what I was after them most. the 578 are pretty much exactly like the stock bars but higher. the 578 bars are +4 on the stock Harley bars btw.
