CHL, This bike has a 2yr extended warranty which covers everything on it short of brake pads and tires.

Carrmat, didn't know it was a shrine/LEO edition. How can you tell? What is the difference over a std RK?

I keep my bikes for a while, my 03 ACE 750 is just shy of 40K.
This is my current bike...



I sure will miss that color...but I think that's about all I'll miss.

 

Good point on the warrenty..... But in two years you'll be on your own with a bike that has about 70,000 miles on it (rough guess) ......

Just paint/pin striping and different tank badges/logos, other than that, nothing different over a standard road king as far as I know. So that pinstriping scheme is a fairly uncommon and looks sharp in my opinion. They still offer them if you look on HD's site.

 

With what you say, I think it's a good deal for you. But I'd make them put on a new rear tire too, since they wear out faster than the front ones. That's just me. I'd want all new rubber on any used bike purchased from a dealer.

I also found out this morning that the bike got a brand new engine from HD last yr due to a bearing failure. Engine was replaced under warranty. Engine wise, it is lower miles than anything on CL in my area.

CHL, next time I'm down around Houston I sure would like to check your bike out in person, it sure is beautiful in that fantastic orange color w/ the whitewalls.
