You could mount a road book on your bars, I used one for years when I rode adventure bikes.

If you want consistent coverage, buy a stand alone GPS. A Zumo is great, but an inexpensive Garmin works just as well.

I use my older Garmin Legend mounted on the handle bar with a RAM mount and powered with a flush mount cigarette lighter USB adapter and a USB cable. Works great but I also have the HOG provided atlas in the tour pak. I cover the GPS with a plastic bag or put it away when there is chance of traveling through lots of rain.
Ride safe.

There's lot of areas with no cell coverage out here in the west. That's why I use a Garmin GPS.
