Know how to work alarm system manually
My questions are these
First how long does the siren sound till it resets automatically
Second can it be disarmed manually while the alarm is sounding
If it is armed I know how to disarm it from the acc setting holding the turn signals and entering the code while the alarm is not ringing, but it does not seem to work if it is going off, do I have to wait till it shuts off if it is ringing?

 

I have a concern for my new fatboy is bought...
If we order a bike from factory with hd security system does it come with a siren installed by default???

when Radio Shack was still around there were sirens you could buy that worked pretty well.

you might find one on ebay.

the efn problem is unless you cut into the harness, the plug HD uses is made out of unobtaium, as it is a fuel injector plug off a GM car....

I thought HD forgot to put it in on my new one, my old night train had the alarm Installed from factory with the security system

 

If youre planning to add one, Id HIGHLY recommend checking out the thread I made about an alternative to the basic Radio Shack one. The one I used was way louder, has more tones, and was a breeze to install on my bike.
