Kevin,

Saweeet bike!! What kind of bars are those? They look awesome.

Your horn? -Is that the same one that HD sells but warns against using as the primary? It looks great though. I see that was your first post on the forum -excellent way to get started! You found the right group to hang with.

Do you know some of the history of the 1st. Marines Division - 3rd. Battalion,5th Marines at: Peleliu & Okinawa ?

Unbelievable fighting man. GOD bless all that served there and never came home.

If you like there is a Cable program 10 series called "THE PACIFIC" it about Eugene Sledge and the men who fought on those to islands.

BOOK: " WITH THE OLD BREED at PELELIU AND OKINAWA"
its a bio of what PFC. Sledge did and seen on the two islands.

Take care MARINE

P.S. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR SERVICE IN THE CORP.
I appreciate youur thoughts. Two flags fly here, the USA and USMC-OOOoooRah!

Hey Archman, I peeked into your "garage" to see pics of your scoot but it was a pretty small photo so I can't really see what you've got going on...but this is as good a place as any to dive into the available resources of a pretty vast and enthusiastic membership!!!

Ditto. I'm diggin' it.

I just picked up some '58 badges to match my paint. Hopefully I can use 'em. We'll see if the '61 badges left a mark or not.

It would be waaaaay to lucky if the metal mount for the new badges matched the '61s, but worst case scenario is you'll have to peel off the double-sided tape, clean up and buff a little before you put on the new mounts.

I'm anxious to see how those '58s look against the turquoise/white setup you have!!!

Here they are. I don't think they are gonna work but at least they'll look good decorating the bar in the rec room.

Unfortunately the auction looks like it's over...can't see the item. But the way your paint is set up I have to think the white '61 badges are right on!!!!

Glad I saw those. I think they would look good on your bike!!! I think I must have been thinking more of the '58 or '59 with the black/red arrow...
