Whiskers -- love the front axel cover. Where can I get a better look at that?

Also a big fan of your horn cover, but I'm pretty sure that's already been discussed in this thread.

Hello to all the riders of the FANTASTIC looking classical scoots. Have not been on site since about a year ago. Have a 2009 Road King Classic. Retro theme. Teal and antique white. Assorted chrome and leather. '09 ultra seat, a gift from a friend.
My question: I picked up saddle bag guards today. Looks like a 2 or 3 hour job. Do you have any tips on installation? Things to avoid? Thanks. Blue Marlin

Not long to put the guards on, but it is an annoying job. Make sure to loosen the crash bars for the saddlebags, do not over tighten the allen heads for the new guards. Don't do it with the bike on the lift. Don't be afraid to use your knees and both hands trying to line up the guards flat to the deck.

Atticus,

Good of you to ask; that's how I learned about many of the accessories on my bike. The horn cover came from J&P Cycles...I think they run about $20 (but its been awhile...and my memory's failing). I added an HD medallion that anyone can pick up at their dealer for about $15. Here's a better picture of it:

I don't have a better picture of the axle covers. They're called 'Speedball Front Axle Caps' and are made and carried by Cycle Visions. I copied a picture of them from their catalog. When I bought them, I went through M&M Cycles, and at that time I paid around $65 +/-. A year or so ago I noticed that they had gone up in price considerably (I'm thinking about $120). They are a hefty piece of work and very well made. IMO, they're probably the best axle caps you'll see and they look really good on a RK Classic.
