Default My classic classic.

Minor changes but trying to keep the classic feel.

Red face

The black handlebars are a nice touch kirkj1s. I've thought about pulling the saddlebag guards, but I like having the storage there for trips...oh, and remind me to tell you some time about when I needed them last summer!!!

That bike is hot. Nice theme going there. Where'd you get the derby and time covers? a/c cover? all very nice touches.

The timing and derby cover are from Brouhard Design. He is an amazing designer. The AC is from Roland Sands, with a K&N filter. I like the more subtle black and chrome combo. I have been trying to make simple changes so that it still has it's stock flavor, thanks for the comments. I cannot believe how much I like the ride with the apes and the 21 front.

16" still seems way to tall for me. They look cool on the the bikes that have them, but I'm not convinced they'd be comfortable. I do, however, about have myself talked into a set of 12" OEM Monkey Bars from Paul Yaffe.

I love that seat.....wish MOCO would make a basket weave solo RK seat for the 08's. Thinking about having C&C see if they can custom make one. Maybe I can pick up someones discard on flea bay.

The only listings I can find on Sundowners end with model year 07? I keep thinking they will update for 2008 but have not found one yet.

Default New bars and backrest installed

I just got my 2009 RKC back from the dealer a couple of days ago. They installed Wild One's 513 8.5'' baby apes and a CVO Street Glide backrest for me. I guess they don't make the bike look any more classic, but they are very comfortable. The bars have a much better wrist angle compared to the Heritage style bars I had on before. They are also a little shorter which helps improve the handling at low speeds. I am also enjoying the backrest. It is very nice to have something to lean back on while riding. My back is very happy.
