I've got a 2013 FLHX and I'm having the random source issue with the stock radio. 8.25 firmware. Does anyone have a copy of the 8.19 firmware that I can get to try a downgrade? I read that the upgrade from 8.18 to 8.19 fixed the issue for most folks so I'm hoping it'll fix it on a downgrade also...

 

Dude, your bike is spankin new, why mess with it your self? I would take that bad boy to the dealer and let them mess with it. On the other hand if you have been down that road already and are tired of their chit and want to dl it yourself, here is a link for the dl and a bit of reading first.

I had it at the dealer for the 1000 mile service and told them about the problem. When I picked up the bike they said that it was a loose connection at the back of the stereo and that they had repaired it. I started the bike, switched to CD, turned off the bike, re-started the bike and FM came on. *sigh*

BTW, the thread you referred to has an HD link to do the firmware upgrade yourself. Evidently HD thinks any monkey can do it... Oh and since it's an HD link the firmware version is the latest and not the 8.19 that i want to try.

Anyone have 8.19?
