RE: RKC = Classic or Custom?
I am new to this forum so everytime I see RKC I get excited. However, I then realize people are talking about the RK Classic and not my bike, the RK Custom. Oh well, I guess this is the great thing about the RK Custom, most people don't own one. We are a special breed!
BTW: I have the beach bars on my bike. I love the look, but they are not the best for touring.

RE: RKC = Classic or Custom?
I personally like the beach bars and have learned to manuever them pretty well after some practice.
It's great to see a thread dedicated to the Custom. I know we are in the Road King minority which for me is a good thing. I'm the only one in the bunch of guys I ride with that has a Custom. When I was looking for a new bike back in September I was trying to decide between a Fatboy& astandard Road King. When I saw the Custom I said that's it - a cross between the two!

RE: RKC = Classic or Custom?
When I say RKC it means Classic...We were first so yall need to get a new name.
J/K but when I started looking I heard the term RKC and the custom wasn't even made yet. I wouldn't say yall are the oddstep child. I like the RK Custom, but it seemed I got more bang for the buck going with the classic. The were almost the same price but the Custom had smaller bags, no windshield, noaux lights, clean fenders, and they lost me with no WWW.
