Default Automatically going to single cylinder mode

Ive noticed my 2013 CVO Ultra goes to single cylinder mode when I idle if the Ive been riding for a while. I do NOT want this to happen. It has to be revved once or it wants to cut out. I thought maybe I had inadvertently rolled the throttle forward, but I took my hand completely off the throttle and it still does it. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

The operators manual explains how to turn this feature on/off... I do not want to mis-quote it...

Follow the directions in the owner manual to turn it off.
Copied here in case you don't have one.

Vehicles are delivered from the factory with EITMS disabled. EITMS can be enabled or disabled by the rider using the following procedure.

Turn the ignition switch to the ON position (do not start the motorcycle).

Push the throttle to roll-off position and hold.

See Indicator Lamps: Touring Models. After approximately 3 seconds, the cruise indicator lamp will either flash green (EITMS enabled) or red (EITMS disabled).

Repeat the procedure as needed to enable or disable EITMS.

Why would you want to turn it off? Its there to protect the engine when it gets too hot.

I believe they all do as of, I think 2010.

Weird that you would want to turn it off.

My dealer explained EITMS during bike walk-thru and asked me if I wanted it on/off...must not be happening at all dealerships, but I thought this was part of your bike's delivery/check-out process..??

I leave mine on all the time, works great. What don't you like about it? If you're sitting in traffic long enough for it to kick on it would seem to me that you should leave it on. Harley does say that it's there for comfort, not because the bike needs.
