Good call. I want to de-bumper/rack/antenna and remove all unnecessary chrome dress up bits on my Ultra Classic. Plugging the rack holes = solved.

I'm with "riteway" on this ... What difference does it make indeed? ... Several times over the years I've taken mine off ( of several scooters ) Just for a change of pace, different look, Just because I wanted to ... and I've used the same plugs as "04ctd" ... His posting just offers who haven't thought of it an option!

Never use it and bike looks better without it, IMO. Very little practical carrying capacity, anyway. Plus, you can clean & wax the top of the TP much easier.
