Security Function acting up

Security Function acting up
This is on my 01 FLHTC. Every time I start it up the security key will light and then go out. It will then light again and the flashers will blink like the security alarm is being set or unset. Does not affect the function of the bike. I am a bit concerned as this has never happened before. Any ideas?
