Thanks for the tip but I'm in Canada and I need it now. I have never been without one so it has to be replaced. I don't trust my "wrist twist guessO'meter" anymore, especially for my HD. I can afford it, I'm just cheap!

Speaking of belt tensioning tools, here's a pic of the one I built mounted on my bike. Its been mounted there for 3 years now and the belt has maintained the perfect tension. Its a heavy duty version of the "JIms 3rd Hand" tool.

Sounds funny, but seriously, get yourself some GOOD snap and lock ring pliers. There's a ton of crap you'll come across working on these bikes that's held in pace by lock rings... and get a good set, cause some of them damn things are stout and will just destroy a cheap set.

Well, your one step better than me by having a lift. I have always "bought as needed" as I am no mechanic to say the least. Depends on what you plan on doing, but I wouldn't waste perfectly good mod money on tools you may not use. Torx bits and allen heads are a must.
