I did the same thing, bought the brackets off Ebay, then bought the bullet turn signals from the dealership. I was able to use the passing light housings that were on my "towel bar". Also changed the tail lights to match. This was a great upgrade, looks really good.

Removing the towel bar sure cleans up the look of the front end as well as smaller signal lights .

I like what some of you have done to your bikes.

Does anyone have pics of the kuryakyn driving/signal lights installed in chrome?

Custom Dynamics went with smoked lens white ring when running amber when turning.

I augmented my rear turn, running and brake lights with a pair of Custom Dynamics Plasma Rods. Money well spent and about a 20 minute install by a dummy like me.
