Default Chrome Front End Wheel Issue?

2011 FLTRX Road Glide Custom

Ok so I put a chrome front end on today.. I took a stock set of lowers and sent them to the chrome plating company. all went well putting them back together I polished a brand new stock set of rotors and put them on the wheel.

the issue I feel I have is when I put the wheel, axle, and calipers back on and torque everything to spec the wheel is kind of tough to turn...don't get me wrong it spins but is dragging on the calipers. take them back off and its smooth spinning...'

thoughts anyone? I even went as far to take the chrome plating off the mounting surfaces that the abs sensor and wheel spacer touch and where the calipers touch

Make sure the wheel is mounted in the right direction. If its not, it will rub

The brakes have to drag a little, or you would be asking us about a mushy brake.

Did you reverse the wheel spacers?

lol I know but I feel like it is dragging more than it did with stock rotors and legs ive done lots of front ends and this is the most drag ive ever felt.

and there is only one wheel spacer the left side has the abs sensor as the spacer...

The OP states he removed the excess chrome from the caliper mounting brackets. Try cleaning the caliper pistons.

Check and make sure your rotor is centered in the caliper itself and not rubbing on the side of the caliper. I had to adjust mine a little when i put the chrome front end on.
