Default Please elf! Derby cover replacement ??

Hello guys I just removed my derby cover to change both my cover and the primary fluid...I purchased the Willie g derby cover and it states I needed the new gasket that's almost like a round sheet...I noticed my stock cover has a rubber oring..do I need to place the rubber oring back in the Willie g derby cover or just the new round gasket paper that I purchased??? Thanks greatly

Welcome to HD!! Accessory derby covers use the flat sheet gasket. About $9.00. Why would they make them use the stock gasket? No revenue stream from that:-)

Does your ***** G cover have slot in it for the o-ring like the original? The flame one I bought didn't so I had no choice but to use the gasket. If it does I would go with just the o-ring and no gasket.

My 103 skull did not have groove either. Dealer told me accessory covers use flat gasket.
