The H-D daymakers do have a horizontal beam, That took a little getting used to leaning into slower hard turns, but I can see twice as far ahead and three times as wide as i could with the stock HL. My aim may be a lil high and with the fiancee' and bags loaded, I've had people pull over or move outta my way just to get me out of their mirrors. I Can't imagine doing without it now. the Dynamic Ringz and clusters really shine in the daytime also.

I put a set of 55 watt HID's from a company called DDM ($49.00) in my 02 V-Rod, I run on Hi beam during the day also and have had people flash their lights at me during the day lol! It's adjusted right, I ride at night often. Had one guy tell me it was like looking into the sun :-D
