hey shooter, if the roadglide is a 2010 or up, then you do not have to pull the outer fairing just to change headlight bulbs. just pull of the trim piece and there are 4 screws holding each headlight on. remove them, and you can easily change the h4 bulb.

IF I did a lot of night riding , I'd consider LED lights for the front, but I don't...
A headlight modulator will get you "seen" more than any LED or other headlight.
When I had one, one or twice a week..at least.. drivers would pull over thinking I was an emergency vehicle, or roll down their window at a traffic light and tell me "something's wrong with your headlight". That's all the feedback I needed...

The first few things I experimented on my Fatboy lo was the headlights.Since the HD LEDs were pricey,I thought I'd try out the al Cheapo HID Bixenon kits they have on Ebay.Fitted it and almost immediately I got an error warning.Checked around and was told that the ballast was not meant for the CAN BUS system that the 2011 bikes run on.So I got a ballast that was meant for the can bus system.This time I had no warning when the dim lights are on but the minute I turn on the High beam,the error sign came up but when you switch the bike off and switch back on,all is well.This is how it is until now but I can live with that because the light is really bright without being glaring to on coming traffic.Far better than the stock halogens.It's just a thought and a much cheaper option to the LEDs.Now,I really wouldn't mind doing the same to my new street glide that I'd be picking up soon if only someone out there could tell me how can I overcome that error sign.

I have been on the fence about buying an LED headlight. I had the lucky chance of seeing both an LED and a regular headlight in my truck mirror. Maybe the regular headlight was on high beam...(I also ride high beam in the daylight) But the regular headlight was much easier to see than the LED. I don't know what brand it was, but was on a very new Harley.
I'm sticking with my stock headlight....for now anyways.

Some guys love fat or heavy women, some guys like um skinny, big butts, little butts, big jugs, little jugs, everything just depends on what turns them on! LED, HID, Stock, what ever floats your boat!!
It's called personal preference!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Unfortunately this is the same reason Harley Davidson makes their bikes with all of the same accessories, they get you coming and going!!!

Really, this is my second bike with LED's, love um, and can really be seen in the daytime, it's a safety issue with me.
I've seen the stock yellow looking headlights with a dark colored bike is not very visible to grandma and could cause problem for you!!!!
Also the LED's is much easier on your electrical system.
I was out in Sturgis 2 years ago, and was behind my group about a mile, and being flat and open, you can see for miles.
They stated they knew it was me, because of my LED's and could be seen that far away.
You keep talking yourself into NOT buying LED's

I love the look of the LEDs on that bright red bike, but I know for a fact, that in WI you cannot run that many headlamps. You can have no more than four white lights on any MV shining at any one time in WI. I am almost sure that is country-wide as well. I love how bright it is, and understand the lighting issue, but would think that you're liable to meet more guys like me riding that way. I don't work traffic anymore, but I know a lot of guys/gals would stop you for that and at least write a warning. I am thinking of going to LEDs, but the cost is outrageous. Does any other manufacturer make lights that would just swap into the Harley? I have an '11 Ultra Limited.
