The HD LED was one of the best purchases I made. I did get a smokin discount, I do think MSRP is a little high. It looks great on the bike and is 10x better at night over stock. Everyone has their own opinion as to what they like and works for their riding style.
if the headlights are not adjusted properly, it will make a difference on how well they are seen in the daylight. and whether or not you are getting optimum performance at night.
Having never change a bulb on my 07 Road Glide....what do you need to do to use the Silverstar bulb?
The bulb is an H4 .... you will need to pull your outer fairing to change them. That's the easy part.......... if you've never done it before, putting it back together is challenging. It gets easier every time you do it, and learn the little tricks. COVER YOUR FRONT FENDER WITH A BATH TOWEL.
When you put it back together, don't over tighten the torx screws.... just snug them.
I guess my issue is that most of my riding is done during the day...I'd rather go slower at night, be seen better during the day...and stick with my stock headlight on my 12 RKC. It seems to be pretty bright as compared to my prior Harleys. I'm all for LED and new technology, but can't see me changing just yet....
Yes even evo's but maybe not in your lifetime. Per our great government incandescent bulbs will no longer be made. Guess there is always the junkyard for parts though! FT
