Default Best Neck Grease

What are you guys using for steering head grease? I want to find a good high tack grease that has minimal leak out properties.

You want a grease with a high temp rating. That stuff tends to ooozzzz out in hot weather on extended rides, then runs and drips all over stuff. Gets on your fender, the front of your bike, and sometimes makes you think you have a front fork leak.

I used Lucas Red n Tacky, but I am not satisfied with it because after a couple of years it starts that running mess too. I am sure others will chime in with their experiences.

That steering head neck/bearing area will take a lot of grease before it starts squirting out of the top and bottom. So just keep pumping!

Disc brake grease will do well not running or melting, but I don't think it's best for the application. Not enough heat generated to meet its qualities in a neck bearing

I've been using Green Grease for several years with no leaking out issues.

Just plain old wheel bearing grease. No leaks or run.
