Looking for pictures of anybody with a Street Glide that has installed the Passenger Grab Rail, either in black or chrome.

My wife really wants it, and I don't want to have to take it off when I remove the Tour Pak and I was wondering what the bike will look like with it installed. Was wondering if getting it in black would make it "invisible", even though I like chrome.

I dont have a pic but with the TP removed looks like hell. I have seen it on other SG's out there and kept me from wasting money on them.

 

That's why I was thinking the black ones might blend in a little better with the saddlebags and seat.

I have a great wife. Most nurses, in my experiences, won't even get on a motorcycle. Never complains about anything I do, so even if I have to remove them every time I take the Tour Pak off, I will do it for her. Was just hoping I wouldn't have to.

I got the black one with a sundowner seat and its not real noticeable at all. Also have the black strut covers and docking kit, all seems to blend in together. Don't have any pics right now , but will try to get some when I get the chance.

so i guess the queston is how many times do you hit the lid of your bags when opening with these things?

 

They haven't hit the bags yet and they won't.

 

when this thread first started I went by the local dealer and had the parts guy show me one from stock. Took it out on the showroom floor to look at it by a bike and wasn't really happy with what i saw. After seeing the pic's of it actually on the bike I like it a whole lot more. I too would have though it would "interfere" with the bag lid. If it clears well I think I'll revisit the issue.
