Default Shop manuals 2013 RKClassic

I've googled the hell out of this, can't find a reference to a Harley manual for 2013 Road King Classic. I read on one of the threads that there are generally 3 references- service manual, parts manual, and electrical manual.

Can anyone provide a link to the correct ones for the bike I have? Also any input on whether I need 1, 2, or all 3 for my purpose?

I'm not going to do much more than put air in tires, add gas and oil and possibly add a few connections for LED accents or things like that. Maybe remove the tank, seat, or dash/console, tighten key nuts and bolts, change oil, add brake fluid or swap battery if neded. Dealer will do the rest. But I do need sufficient detail to identify the routing and pinouts for the wiring harness, know what nuts and bolts to remove and what not to remove, etc to accomplish the above and I don't want to buy all 3 if only one is needed.

Thanks in advance if you are able to point me to the correct reference.

go to harley-davidson.com. then to parts. select your bike and select manuals. they will all be there. your dealer can get them all for you also.

if you googled harley 2013 touring service manual you'd also find it. there isn't one just for the classic - your bike is covered in the touring one.

i always get the service and parts manual. i only get the electric supplement if i'm rebuilding something.

good luck

Thanks guys. The Harley site only listed to 2011 for some reason but the Manchester HD site did show the 2013 Service manual.

Just go to the parts counter at the dealer. Parts manual is free (mine was), service and electrical manual round 60 each. You may not do to much to your bike at the moment but you never know when you will have to tinker with it (dealer closed, 4 day weekend, stuck on side of road, etc) Unless you chit money, there may come a time when you want to save a few bucks on the dealers 70-90 buck an hourly rate. Besides all of that, it helps you learn/bond with your bike.

Are you talking about the parts manual or the parts *catalog*? They are different. Parts catalog would be free but I'd be surprised if they give you the parts manual for free.

There is an online parts manual here: http://partsfinder.onlinemicrofiche.....asp?make=hdmc

Picked up a service manual at the local dealer yesterday. $60 vs the $48 on-line but I try to support local business when possible. The had to order a parts manual for me, another $40 but I agree it will be good to have.

The service manual looks pretty good overall, I was hoping for a bit more of an expanded view of the accessory toggle switch routing. I know there is supposed to be an accessory connector available under the seat. I'm not clear if that is on the same fuse circuit as the driving light toggle or independent. Would also like to know if it is always "live" or active only when the ignition is on. If anyone knows please reply. The schematics have RKC info spread out over multiple pages.
