Why not just get the 60wt Amsoil, It will quiet the engine down some and still give the protection of syn.

He only has 6 posts so he won't be able to post a video.

I have heard that some have a problem with Amsoil when it comes to noise. Try a different synthetic like Mobil 1 V-twin or Redline. You might see your noise disappear or at least quiet down a bit.

I grew up on jap bikes. Then about 10 years ago, I switched to BMW's, which are noisy, I have had both oilhead and airhead GS's. I was really surprised, and for the first year, worried endlessly about the noise. Then I got used to it, and I got used to everybody saying "they all do that", and I learned they are reliable despite the noise, now I am on my second Harley... same deal, you can hear the valves, that's just the way they are.. so hurry up and get that worrying over with so you can start smiling!
