Width on Apes, make any difference

Default Width on Apes, make any difference

hoping to pull the trigger on some apes and found some that are pre-built, etc. Here are the specs, any advantage to one over the other ? thanks

Not sure what / where your comfort zone is.
Set on your bike and close your eyes, then put your
arms and hands where they feel comfortable.
Have someone measure the height, width, and pullback.

Take those numbers and find the bars that come closest ....

My wo578 are 36.5 wide. Enough for me

Both of those you listed are narrow. I don't think 2 1/4 difference in width is going to make a difference (that's 1 1/8 wider on each side -- barely noticeable). My softail apes are 34" and 40" wide and after a few minutes of riding when switching bikes I really don't notice a big difference. SJ Ron

Both of those widths are narrower than my 12"ers. I wondered if I would like the extra width over the stock bars but it feels nice. I feel more in control.

dont know what my apes measure but they are same width as stock and i wished they were few inches wider. my other bike is about 4'' wider and gives much better feel of control

I like to keep my bars no wider than 34".
