Sadly, Washington State Patrol has lost another. Motor Officer Trooper Sean O'Connell was killed yesterday, while serving us. Troop O'Connell was working traffic in the area of the collapsed bridge detour on I-5 in NW Washington when he was t-boned by a box truck of some kind.
R.I.P Sean. My heart goes out to his family and WSP.

Yeah we just lost a Sheriff motor officer last week from a texting 17 yr.old female on the back roads of Ramona, Ca. She had been driving for two months. And he was a lead motorcycle training officer where he just finished a class.

 

Sad story. Seems strange that an entire bridge span collapses and this is the first casualty.

While not a Motor Officer we just had a LEO ambushed last week, perp lying in Wait, pull debri in roadway, when the officer exited his vehicle, shot wi th shotgun, then walked up and shot again in face...reward is over $100000.00....someone will give him up....
