Looks like you give up some functionality with the stealth for looks. Don't like the name either- its a luggage rack. Theres nothing stealthy about it. At least they didn't call it the X rack.

It looks like less functionality but its not. I plop my luggage on there just the same. Dog food, groceries whatever. Wrap a bungee net around it and off I go.

Yeah, the name is pretty stupid, it kinda makes me wonder what the other name options were that "Stealth" ended up being the best.

I'm not really concerned about things falling off the back of the bike, because whatever I put on the rack will be attached to the sissy bar. I'm more concerned with how much width it has and whether or not it will hold bags well when corning hard.

I had the stealth on my 08. Worked very well no issues at all.

I have the stealth and it works just fine with a bag on top. Just use bungee straps to tie it down

Been using the stealth on my SG for the past 3-4 years. Usually don't carry much, but a couple times a year I'll strap 2 bags on it for a Daytona run or something. Since I don't do it very often it takes me a little time to figure out how to tie things down securely, but I think that would be the case with any rack. No complaints!
