Default Anyone add Cruisemount to your Police model bike

I just received my Cruisemount LLC kit today in the mail for my 12 FLHTP and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions/helpful tips? I already have the service manual and it came with instructions, but they're not overly clear and seem kind of confusing.

Thanks for the help.

I did it without too much trouble. Just followed the instructions and went slow. Once you get the technique down for changing the pins, it goes pretty fast.

Well, just buttoned everything up. If anyone is looking to add cruise to their police bike the Cruisemount kit really is the way to go. The instructions really do walk you through, you just have to read them a few times to really know them and try not to jump ahead. My one advice: don't try to think you know what's coming next. Just following the instructions step by step. Whole thing took about 3 hours total. Now I just to have my cruise activated by the dealer. Its going to be nice to have cruise!

My kit was $168 for the wiring, plus I have to purchase the cruise control kit from HD and a spot light switch. So yes its not cheap, but really the only extra cost is the wiring kit compared to civilian models.
