You gota think , can you really do anything on the side of the road with no manual, or oil, or parts? I just got back from Florida, and I had a stator go south, even if I had the tools to change it, I didn't have primary oil, or the parts. I would keep a plug wrench, a couple spark plugs, a tire plug kit, and a small air pump, some zip ties, and that would be about it.

Funny stuff here as usual. I have tool roll with mutli tool pliers, allen and star wrench sets, zip ties, electrical tape (wrapped around my pump), suspension pump, air gauge, paracord, phone charger, small pad lock, lighter, bandaids, sunblock, chapstick and road side service with trip interuption ($500) from Progressive.
Gonna cruise with the cruiser. FL to Knoxville via 92/26 & 40. Not planning on hauling the tool cabinet. What's the most essential tool you would carry? I'm thinking AAA. If one had a flat tire on a UC, would one be able to plug it and somehow pump it up on side of the road?
The #1 potential problem you'd encounter is a flat tire. Unless it's a gash most common punctures can be easily plugged on the roadside. I've tried some fancy so called "motorcycle" plug kits and NOTHING has work as consistently as a $8.99 rope type plug kit from your local auto parts store. Be sure you've got needle nose pliers or a multitool with pliers to extract the object. If you've already got a battery tender harness connected to your battery great. Buy a small 12v compressor and attach a compatable connector and your all set. I'd stay away from the one shot CO2 kits. You can pay $30 or go all the way up to $100 for the CyclePump. What ever fits your budget. My kit stays in my bike all the time.
