Default '12 RK won't fire after washing

Backed out of garage. Washed it like I've done 15-20 times. Have both fobs. Turns over good but won't fire. Lights, fuel pump, signals, etc. work.
Any quick ideas? Got to get on the road!!!

thanks

Vince

Wait a while I guess. Did you use a power washer? Might be as simple as the plug wires shorting out at the cylinder.

Check your crank sensor connector plug. I had the same problem once, after checking everything I could think of, I pulled the connector apart and water dripped out. Dried it out and the bike fired right up. Worth a check....

No power washer.
Checked fuses.
Checked plug wires/plugs.
I put a plastic back over everything under the seat when I wash bike. Everything there was dry.
Took switch housings apart and checked them.

I'll check it when I can find it. Owners manual doesn't show it. I'll have to look on line to see where it's at.

thanks

do you have a piggyback tuner like a power commander on it? If so, that is where it's at

Do you know where the sensor is? Look at your oil filter, it's the wire next to it attached to the front of the engine. Follow the wire down under the bike and your see the black connector.

Found the connector and pulled it apart. Dry.

Thanks for the replies. Appreciate it.

Hey guys and gals, I'm at a loss for why I do not have any spark. Hoped I could find the problem so I would not have to trailer it to the shop.

Any suggestion's?

Turns over well but will not fire after washing it Monday morning at 0800. I'll check everything that's suggested even if it's a repeat.

Appreciate any ideas

Vince
