Default Slip on exhaust '13 Street Glide

Evening y'all,
I have been considering a few options for exhaust set up on my '13 S.G. I have been looking into RineHarts but $500+ for 4IN slip ons is a bit steep in my book....

I came across CycleShack slip ons, for around $250-300 which is a little bit affordable but im a little worried about how they will sound....

I had Vance and Hine short shots on my Streetbob and they were obnoxious after a few hours.....plus now with the radio I really don't want to end up drowning that out.....

What do you guys suggest? I have and never will have any motive to upgrade motor wise so I don't want to swap out air cleaners/tune...etc

Thanks

i got the true duals reinhart full system i love the way reinhart sounds just my opinion. they are loud enough and never drown out the radio. cant say how loud the slipons are but full system sounds great in my opinion.

Have you checked american custom setup?

americancustom.com is very affordable and they have a full complement of baffles to meet your needs.

I went with the Bassani megaphone slipons and a gutted header pipe and it is perfect for me.

Rineharts or V&H you can't go wrong. I've had both on touring bikes and could hear my music just fine. Even cruising at 90!

I went with superflow mufflers and really like the sound. A little louder than stock. $190 shipped to my door

SE Street Cannons work well for me. I find they have a nice bark when I crack the throttle but aren't obnoxious when cruising.

I have the V&H Monster Rounds with V&H True duel Header. Good sound when you get on it, but tolerable for anyone behind you when cruising.

Khromwerks 4" HP+. Expensive but deep tone and great power using a version of Jim Feuling's AR baffle.

I went from V&H Short Shots on a Fat Bob, to the the Rinehart 4" slip ons on my Street Glide.
They were somewhat louder than the factory pipes, but not much.
Then I installed V&H Power Duals header pipes to go with the Rineharts, and that made it slightly louder still.
But nowhere near as obnoxious as the Short Shots on the Fat Bob.

I think you'll be fine with whatever slip ons you decide meets your budget.
None of them will be anything like the Short Shots.
