Default HARD KHROME T-REX beware!!!!!!!!

Have a set of Hard Khrome T-ReX pipes... They were great right up to the point where the right side chrome cover cracked in half at the bend....Called Hard Khrome and actually got a person who told me to find my reciept and they would warrant the pipes... Now after 10 messages and numerous e-mails they don't answer or return my calls nor do they answer my e-mails!! So if your in the market for some pipes I highly recommend against buyingthe T-REX true duals because like Draggin Baggers they do not stand behind their product. So will order some Rienharts and another lesson learned....

That blows!

I'm sure you know I'm not a duals kinda guy, but I did run across this yesterday (http://www.danddexhaust.com/news/200...troduces_d.htm), and since I am a D&D fan I thought these might be worth a look if you're in the market. One this ya know for sure is that if it comes from D&D, it'll be performance oriented!

D&D, is it a spinoff from Cobra pipes? I use to have some Cobra drag pipes that really sounded good. Nothing but good words to say about Cobra.

Was the right floorboard spaced off enough? I bought a set of pipes and had to take them off the bike I got them from. The spacers that came with for the board seemed a little to thin. I know this might sound crazy but is it possible the board was vibrating against the pipe helping crack?

Good to know DI. Sorry it was at your expense though.

These manufacturers need to have a message sent to them as they handle business like they are untouchable.[:@]

Mine had cracked in the same place. When I called HK, they told me I needed to return them to the person I bought them from and the person I bought them from(ACM) told me I needed to deal with HK. Talk about a runaround. ACM then told me to return the pipes to them, at my expense, and that they would then forward them to HK who would have to look at them and make a determination as to if they would replace them all the while my bike would be sitting without pipes. Both companies customer service sucks.D&D for the win!!!!!

D&D is D&D and has been since the early 70's. www.danddexhaust.com

I've seen Cobra stuff on metrics, but don;t know much about them.
