The tuner said it would take about 1.5-2 to complete the tune.
This is when I would have backed away.

Why? That cam has been around a longtime and the dyno computer should have an extensive library of previous tunes so it gives the tuner a great starting point from which to work.

Best of luck man... I fear you'll be told the problem is rooted in your work.

All the best

That sucks but in reality, just waiting there sucks, no matter what they're doing or not doing.

Last week, I had a 9:00 appointment and at noon, I asked what it looked like time wise. I was told they were short handed and it was just up on a lift. I said I needed to go and get my wife home, so she could go to work at 3:00. It's an hour ride home. I left, got more gas and went back. I wasn't happy but I did get some input when I started looking at a Breakout.

Default Do Service writers get commission?

Example; was talking to my service writer and was talking about replacing the primary cover. I gave him a part number and he gave me a price. now my old primary was sitting on the shelf and i was just going to replace it with a new one. now understand the price he gave me was just the price on the part no gasket or labor was included in his price. I was walking around the strore and walked up to the parts counter handed him the number and he came back with a different price. that makes me wonder do service writers get commission?

Too bad that the tuners have to learn on your bike and don't know their program.
