I think I'm gonna pick up a used stock seat locally and have it sent off for modification. That way if I don't like it I can always go back to the stocker. Plus I won't miss any riding while its gone.

No, I didn't. I really wanted to mess with the overall suspension as little as possible. Just needed to get my feet more firmly planted.

I've read lots of stuff about suspension mods and found more bad experiences with messing with the front than the rear. So far, the Burly's on the rear are working great, but if I run into problems, swapping back to the stockers is a 10 minute deal.

Stupid request... could you take a photo of your bike from the side, I am curious of how that changes the stance of the bike just lowering the rear? I've thought a lot about dropping the bike using the full kit, (front & back).

Did you need to change out your kickstand ?

Thanks

I was curious about this also. What made you choose Burly over progressive or cut down stockers?

Didn't want my stockers cut in case I ever wanted to return to stock height. It is my understanding that Burly is made by progressive and would perform VERY similarly if not identically. Also, my dealer had Burly in stock for $200 and I had a credit to use there, so I went with those.
