Blue on the compensator bolt will work fine.
Actually, no, it doesn't. White is a permanent 'ain't no coming back from here' loctite. It was in the BRAND NEW NUT that I had just purchased. Red stays red, blue stays blue, yellow stays yellow, and iI assume, white will stay white. I don't know about white because quite frankly, I've never had to remove something that had white loctite on it.

We got "red, white & blue" responses so this is an appropriate Memorial Day thread...

old thread....but in this issue myself. SE comp instructions do not state to apply red 262 to the T70.

T70 that came in the SE comp kit has blue loctite on it? (see photo)

are people applying red to this too before install?

talking 2008 touring bike.

I just put a new one in my '07 Ultra a couple days ago, came as pictured above, with blue on it. I installed as is. Doubt it will be an issue. Used some red on the clutch pack nut as instructed in service manual.

that is the path of least resistance.....whats odd is for the stock comp uninstall/reinstall the manual states to use red 262 when reinstalling that bolt.

same boat as you.
