Default Another approach to Heel-Toe shifter

I tried using the heel-toe shifter for a while, even lowering them as far as possible. Still had to almost raise my whole leg up to get my heel over the peg. Also didn't like not having full range of motion.

Tried just the toe, but in order for my boot toe to fit under it I had to raise the peg to an uncomfortable position.

So I tried putting them both forward. After tweaking the position a little, I find this the easiest. Just have to slide my foot forward and move my toe up and down. Works best with the upper shifter to the outside.

But it does look funny.

It would look less fugly if you simply replaced the single toe peg with a bicycle clip-on clip.

Try getting an extended heel shifter and run it almost as low as the floorboard. Just slide your heel back and shift. Barley have to lift my heel.

with the stock heel/toe the 2 shifters balance each other.
I'd worry about the extra weight bias to the front wearing the shifter linkage...

get enough mass and you can downshift by tapping the brakes.

even my Honda Trail 90 has a heel/toe.

I'm used to it.
