Default Compensator issues??

Hey guys, I have 90 miles on my 2013 Ultra Limited. Just curious have they fixed the compensator issues from 2010 2011 ?? My primary chain is making all kinds of weird noise. Sounds like the chain is slapping around.

They put the SE compensator in 2011 and besides everything is breakin' on your bike, your going to hear all kinds of noises then it will quiet down then after 7k or so the noises will pickup again....too early to worry about noises right now...just ride it.

Thats what I thought . I will see how it goes, I know those auto chain adjusters take a while to find a sweet spot. Thanks

right - gonna ride mine until it breaks (again). Replaced my stock compensator a couple years back with the SE and Harley's already revised the SE design once since then. Reckon they will again . . . .

Last year on the way back from Sturgis I had mine lock up a couple of times but it's behaving for now.

There's always something to worry about - especially if you hang out on these boards . . . I say ride and about forget it.

I plan to just ride and not worry about it to much just keep a ear open for problems at least its not a very expensive fix if it goes bad. I would not ride any thing else but a harley, my other bike a 01 eglide and put 80,000 mikes on her and only had to change the cam chain ten once at 53,000 miles other than that zero problems.
