Default Picked up my new scoot!

Yesterday I finally went and picked up my new bike. (New to Me)

I bought a retired EG from the University of Pittsburgh.

2011 with 4,100 miles.

We didn't waste any time tearing her down so here are some pics of the work in progress.

Well so far we de-catted the head pipe and installed V&H Slash Cut Ovals. Removed the passing lights and installed bullet turn signals from a SG. Installed a SG windshield (not sure if i'll like it but it was cheap from HDF). Changed the rear turn signals to bullet signals from a SG.

I bought an Alpine multi-media stereo system and Polk 6.5" Coax speakers.

And I am using a SG seat because I'm vertically challenged so the air-ride seat had to go.

The stickers are just about gone, but she needs a bath. But everything is coming along very well!

Finished her up and got her home.

I've ridden for the past 2 days just locally and so far I love it. Considering my last bike was 4 years ago and was only a Vulcan 800, this is quite a step up and much heavier but I'm adjusting.

I am very happy with how it came out. Now I need to get something to fill the gaps in the saddlebags where the POLICE tags went and once I get it completely buffed and done I have badges from an UC Limited that I'm going to use for the tank. A couple of the pics still have glue on the tank and bag, that's all been removed.

Not sure what else I'll do. I installed an Alpine stereo and Polk 6.5s but I didn't wire it up yet because frankly, I chickened out haha. If anyone has a diagram or directions on how to do it on a EG Police bike I'd really appreciate it. (Keep in mind the police bikes do not have an interconnect harness)
