Default straight talk on cam shoes

Hello, This is my first post here and saying Hi ! Hav been reading for around a year.
I just brought my Dyna Glide 2011 street Bob home yesterday, bought it 2nd hand has 6000. miles. I have read so much about the cam tensioners and shoes wearing rapidly. Is this for certain year bikes? Is mine hydraulic tensioners ? Does my t/c 96 ci have this isuue? I have talked to some older guys who have the TC engines but not this new of machine. they say they have not had any problems and it depends on how you ride your bike easy and cool or like a rice burning crotch rocket the rocket style being how it will wear tese out quickley, your opinions ? No BS P{lease need the facts , I have been automotive tech. repair guy all kinds of engines for years , i understand how this stuff works and every sound in my engine i realize how much is going on inside there and possible troubles.......
Can one of you guys or several , tell me the straight on this issue thanks, Ken

Yours is the newer style. In 06 your model went to the new style so you should be good for at lest 80,000 miles as the new ones do wear, burst a very slow rate.

I'll chime in... had mine replaced at 42,000 when when I had the big bore done. Measured the depth of the grooves in the face of the shoes... I forget now what the number is (in thousandths) that the service manual says to replace them, but mine were only worn about a third of that.

04 super glide took a look at 35000' outer 25% down on front rear not much past 30% wear. Took photo with phone showed tech at dealer, I know fairly well, said I was good to go, check and upgrade in another 15 to 20.

Buddy's 05 in my garage now. Just turned 50k and lost part of rear tensioner, smoked inner bearing and ruined the case.
